I was contacted by a recruiter from Apple for an Engineering Project Manager role. The first step will be a phone interview. Any idea how to get prepared for the interview? What questions might be asked?
They will interview you and then ghost you. Happened with me four times. Stop wasting your time. You deserve better
Ghost is not just a great movie it’s a way of life.
Same here. The least Apple could do is follow up.
I had few interviews this week for EPM role
For a manger role, the question from you is not how to prepare, you should have enough experience to be able to prep for the initiative talk.
Apple will ghost. Save time
Depends on the department. They didn’t ghost me and gave me critical feedback for me to improve my skills for the next round.
Me and my wife Every time they ghosted
Apple ghosted me as well recruiter approached me on LinkedIn exciting opportunity blah blah when I shared the resume never heard back till date
I interviewed with their Enterprise Platform Services team and the interview was ridiculous. He was not sure whether he was looking for a SRE or a Developer and most of the questions were vague and incoherent
I interviewed for sse role and almost everyone was rigid on using c and only c to solve the interview questions ( one guy just one, said it's ok u can even use pseudo code I just wana see ur problem solving ability)
I would echo the Ghosting 💀 part. Have had such experience with Apple.
+1 on the ghosting part but I had very good positive experience interacting with the team members and HM.
