Hi 👋 I just finished full loop interview with Snap and it's been 10 days I haven't heard from recruiter. Usually how many days does it take for them to reject/offer you the job?
We go big on Monday.
Expecting good earnings call?
No, layoffs.
That's exactly how they operate. They ghost you and only come back whenever they think it's good. Effing no timeline
Had similar experiences in past with other comps too
Snap does it way too many times for the size of its company both pre and during layoffs. Too many such threads on blind
Did you try following up with your recruiter? You should have gotten a response faster. However, the company feels weird right now. People are expecting layoffs to happen but the company hasn’t said anything about it yet. My team, and my org, has had headcount and backfill frozen, too.
I interviewed a month back, got response in 3 days
I had onsite last week. Expecting feedback (reject) tomorrow
Why do you expect a reject, it might as well be a tentative offer.
Yeah it could be. Don’t think I nailed all my rounds though
Snap sucks, don’t join
Probably waiting for teammatch
Got reply. Snap paused hiring!
Well that sucks
Yup, layoffs plus seems like bad earnings underway.
Interviewed about a month ago, got a response within 2-3 biz days. No headcount tho, so will be on team match for a few weeks.

Why is it so G*damn difficult to move money out of India
They literally laid off last Friday and more coming soon https://www.businessinsider.com/snap-layoffs-staff-expecting-more-next-week-2024-2
We literally didn’t but go off
Business Insider is wrong. There weren’t layoffs. A couple people getting fired isn’t the same thing. Probably were low performers and on PIP.
