I have my first round interview with Plaid coming up. They said its not leetcode. Its 2 one hour sessions. What kind of questions can I look at to prep for? Im making sure my IDE and environment have the right tooling and my python knowledge is fresh but still would like to have a better idea of whats getting thrown at me. #plaid #swe #stripe #fintech #interview
When I interviewed with Plaid I got a coding question that wasn't directly from leetcode, but was not really all that different from a LC problem. As you mentioned, make sure your ide is set up, I had tech issues that ended up costing me some valuable time, and I didn't get to a working solution. My second hour was a system design interview.
So i wouldnt have to do anything like create a web/CRUD app? Just run my code like in leetcode?
In my case, it was just running some straightforward, stand-alone code.
Ok i just had it and its running straightforward code that parses text/list etc. Dont worry about building a CRUD app or using any fancy libraries. I definitely think doing leetcode helps a lot i doing it although not a direct algo problem
Did you have system design?
No i did not. Too practical quasi leetcode problems
