Why is Bay Area terribly dressed?
A friend wants to start interviewing at Symantec, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and maybe Salesforce. He is wondering what will be the right timing in order to get offers at the same time. His target positions are Technical Director(S), Staff SDE (G), Principal SDE (MS, A). I know that it usually around 1-2 months at Symantec from initial interview till you get an offer. What about other companies? Are they also that slow or he can start to interview there later? I heard that Google sometimes is super slow too.
Surprised with such a small amount of comments.
Do google first because they make you match with a team after passing before they give you the offer.
Thanks for the suggestion. In his case team matching will be before even phone screening. He will apply for specific role in specific team.
Google's pipeline is SLOOOOOOOOOOW
Amazon can be done in 3-4 weeks.. you should know the phone screen results in couple days, for onsite 4-7 days
For a PE?
