What’s QComm’s bonus/merit raise like?
Cash bonus is usually 10% to 20%. Merit is usually around 2% to 3%. RSU bonuses vary greatly based on your level and your job family. Senior might get 40K, Staff might get 60K and Senior Staff might get 80K. Some groups get even more. RSUs vest 1/3 after the first year and then 1/6 every six months.
Qualcomm doesn't give 40k refreshers to seniors. You are quoting numbers out of your ass. Qualcomm pays dog shit salary and pig shit refreshers in the bay area.
I've seen proof that they can get close to that in non-core groups, and core groups pay even more. It all depends on the group that you're in. Just like Microsoft has SSA, some groups have been offered significant retention bonuses and other favorable perks for working extra hours, etc.
