Currently in LA area in CA. Single. No kids. YOE 15. TC: $190k I asked for base of $180k and was told it's too far off. "Reconsidered" and will give a base range of $110-120k for Bellevue. Position 2 & 3: Product Managers-one in Bellevue & the other one in Denver, CO. Not sure what range to give them. Same as above? What should I negotiate? Which job/location/group is the best? I would suggest you to take Frisco, TX location. Cost of living is much cheaper there. If you are moving from LA, you may not like rainy weather in Bellevue.
The WA market will have the best pay scale given the higher cost of living (Bellevue, Snoqualmie and Bothell are all in the same market given they’re within a 30 min drive of each other without traffic). 180k base would definitely be well above an L08 salary, which is what this position is based on bonus and RSU amounts. Honestly, you’d probably be looking at 130-140k max is my gut reaction without knowing the actual title. I’d be curious to know what others think
That "Sr level" is akin to a Manager or Sr PM (L08 as gogo indicated), and mid-level for base is indeed around $130k, with $180k being completely out of range.
Check H1b salaries.. based on that it looks like sr. Software eng salary base is max around 155k
Cost of living determines overall salary tier 1 city gets tier 1 money- Bellevue will be highest paid followed by Bothell, Snoqualmie, Kansas and Texas will pay least because of cost of living. What level is it? Based on stock looks like L8 or L7

L7 is 20% and $15k RSU
I’m an L08 in Bellevue (same bonus and RSU) and my base isn’t even six figures after 5+ yoe. I highly doubt you will get anything close to 180
What org are you in and what's your title? I thought L8 starts at 115 base, and thought I was totally lowballed..

Thank you for replying! They said they don't give out their rangers which is very strange to me. Im talking to the recruiter again tomorrow to see if I can find out anything else. Just said it's a Sr Level position. The recruiter was very vague about everything!
Try and get the level Typical L8 salaries start at $120K base. RSU, 401K match and bonus are standard and generally non negotiable. sign-on bonus is typically low (<$20K). Relocation is provided. Also, the base varies between orgs for the same level role
