Offers after multiple months of prep
Base - 115K RSU- 50k/4 Sign On - 30K Target bonus - 10% of base Level - 60 Currently at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Years of experience ~ 2 Offer is for Seattle Area Current TC- 120k (base) + 120k/4(RSUs)
Standard offer. May be shoot for 75k stock
I negotiated from 25 K to 50 K. Recruiter told me that this is final. Is 75k a reasonable ask for industry hire? Not sure why they lowball so much. My current stocks are much more. But the benefits and annual bonus at MSFT compensate somewhat
I would not say this is lowball. The offer is standard. In Microsoft the yearly cash bonus is pretty ok.. I'd say you shouldn't be too depressed
Looks good to me.
Base could go up to at least 120k+ How does this compare to ur current OCI TC?
Current TC is 120k (base) + 120k/4(RSUs). But no yearly bonus. Sign on was 25 k when I joined
Looks like u shouldn’t switch then 😕
Sign on and RSU is good, base could be higher. Shoot for 125
That's 61 base. But no harm in trying
You sure about that? I got an L60 offer with 120k base in may 2017
Doesn't Oracle pay you this much already?
My current TC is 120k (base) + 120k/4(RSUs). But no yearly bonus. Sign on was 25 k when I joined
I am assuming you joined as a new grad... oracle offers are a joke
Not better than your current oracle offer. You should get 30-50k more Tc or no use in switching
There are many reasons to switch to MS from Oracle. OP gives some above.
Seems lower than ones I've seen recently. In my experience they dont go up in base mich unless you have a competing offer. New grads can get 125 rsu pretty easily so I would target that. Ask for 100k and see if they give you 75
Check out other offers on http://levels.fyi, seems right in the ballpark
try for 125 base and try more stock! definitely seems like the college hires get more RSU...
