Pls recommend a laptop or desktop
I bought two: one used desktop and one new laptop and returned them. Had screen trembling issues or could not start (the used one). I would not buy an apple because it is a black box I could not expand the ram/ board etc. Needs 32 GB RAM or 16 G at least , 1 T hard drive to download my expiring Google drive. Intel cpu. Thanks!
If you’re an engineer then Apple or keep wasting money on PC trash 🤷♂️

I still have a soft spot for ThinkPads. Think my most recent is a T480 that I got refurbed for like $500. Fantastic machine for that money (i7, 32GB, 1TB SSD).

System76 or Framework laptops are good. Otherwise Lenovo and MacBooks
HP spectre x360 is good value for money. Bought mine 4-5 years ago, still using mine
