Potential Google opportunity

Hi folks, I have a question. I recently got an opportunity for waymo to work as a TVC on a very interesting project for the self driving car. The thing is I was actively interviewing FAANG and I didn’t get results for Amazon and apple yet. For google I went to the pixel team and cracked every round, except one interviewer I had hard time understanding his accent and it took forever to solve the problem. They asked me to try again in May 2023. At that time, a third party vendor contacted me for Waymo opportunity and I did like 5 coding rounds and got the job. I accepted this job because my 60 day grace period was about to end and I have to maintain my status. Tencent didn’t file my GC and didn’t even care about filing one. It was super toxic but pay was good. I was losing my mind. I’ve been to waymo office and it’s very nice vibe with so many people working on campus and so far everything is good. Question is should I try for other FAANG/better pay opportunities or just focus on this contract job. Is there any chance I can get into Google or become a permanent employee at waymo itself. The contract is for 24 months but manager told me that there are couple of tvc who are hired as permanent employees before 24 months. I spoke to the TVC who are now permanent employees and said it’s been good and they liked it here. After 1 year they have become permanent. My vendor said they will file GC since I have a phd and have several publications and 2 US patents. So I’m at crossroads on what to do next. My first 3 year period for H1B is April 2023.
