Power of Google and meta

So was speaking to a buddy of mine the other day who has a fast growing startup. He said that a large chunk of his funding basically goes to Google and facebook for advertising for user growth. This is basically a tax you pay to them irrespective of your startup idea. It’s amazing how much of a monopoly exists in the ad space. No wonder Zuckerberg pays so much for insta and WhatsApp.
