Hey everyone, As a Software Engineer with 7 years of experience, primarily in web development, I've started preparing for Meta/Amazon. Here's my plan: 1) Complete the LeetCode data structure exploration course (1st month) 2) Dive into System Design videos by Martin Kleppmann (2nd month) 3) Enroll in the System Design course on educative.io (3rd month) 4) Solve LeetCode problems tagged for Meta (premium) (4th-6th months) 5) Practice mock interviews on platforms like Pramp with FAANG engineers (after 6 months) What other steps do you recommend? I'm aiming for E4/5. In my current role, I function as a senior SWE, actively involved in coding, PR reviews, and merges. Open to your insights and ideas! 💡 Years of Experience: 7 Total Compensation: $150k #tech #faang
I don’t think you need to do courses, just practice company tagged LC and read system design books
Thank you
Too long, you may run out of steam. Personally I can never prep seriously unless an interview is scheduled. Maybe schedule phone interview for a company you are not too keen on maybe a month out, try and crack it, and gauge yourself based on the experience.
Sounds good

Do paid mock interviews at Meetapro, interviewingio or prepfully. Peer ones are waste of time.
