I have around 1.7 years of experience at my current company. I have solved around 540 questions on leetcode 175, easy, 310 medium, and 60 hard. And 587 on codeforces (mostly 150+ of >=1500 rating). Do you guys think Striver's sheet would be good enough for Google interviews? Also, how to prepare for the design round? If there is any guide that has helped you alot, please do share. Update 1: I gave it a thought again, maybe going through interview questions of Google would be better? Update 2: So, the message is from Korn Ferry supporting Google on LinkedIn. I don't even know now if this legit or not. Thanks. #engineering #software #swe #google #interview
IMO Steiver sheet alone is not enough...
What other sheets(guides) I can go through? I think in a longer run I can complete those as well.
Same YOE as OP. Wanted to know hows the market as of now? What has beenn your experience?
My experience? I have recently started getting messages from recruiters. I think market is getting a bit better now since earlier I was kept getting rejected in the resume filter round itself.
OP any changes to your resume/linkedin profile you made to get more calls?
This bhaiya/ didi sheets need to stop. Get comfortable in all leetcode topics by doing 15-ish problems (mostly easy and medium). Then do more in topics you feel underconfident.
How many no of problems required nearly for Google?
There is no fixed answer. I did around 800. Several of KY colleagues barely did 200. Few friends grinded more than 1500. YMMV
Following in the same boat.
Bad time to switch, wait for 6 more months and try for L4.
So, more LC hard and Alex Xiu's system design practice to push L4?
Btw, isn't it better to try once so that if there is any cooldown, it can get started early.
@perennial why? any particular reason? I can see more post of people joining G and it seems G had reduced the hiring bar level too.
I interviewed recently for L3 and am about to get an offer. I have 2.5 YOE. I asked for L4 , but the recruiter said that I should have at least 3 YOE to get L4. Here are the feedbacks of my interview: H, SH, H, SH
Looks like you are almost in. Do you mind sharing the level of the interview questions, the number of questions in each round and the topics? Thanks.
