In a role I had in 2018, I was asked about general privacy principles: controller vs processor, retention, minimization, how privacy affects security and vice-versa, what does privacy by design mean, what types of DSRs are there, and so on.
Thanks for the response. Were you asked any questions in terms of engineering implementation?
No, but questions like how would you build a data handling system they integrates from multiple sources and automatically allows servicing of DSRs? What data could be used to auto-populate a DPIA, how would you design for that? In short, design questions yes, but coding / implementation detail questions no.
