Hey guys! I am a little undecided about what to do in this situation. I have accepted an offer from Tesla for a particular role. However, I heard back from another recruiter from a different org in Tesla asking me to interview for a Product Manager role (which aligns better with my background and career goals). I have a good relationship with the manager I have accepted the offer with and do not wish to spoil that. I had applied for this position a few days earlier after accepting the first offer. I am not sure if I should tell the recruiter about my situation or just proceed without telling anything at all. Another option is just not moving ahead in this process for the second role at all. Is there a possibility they rescind my offer? EDIT1- I see people leaning towards telling the recruiter about the situation. Can this by any means affect my relationship with my manager. Why not accept the offer you have right now and keep in touch with the hiring manager/recruiter of the 2nd team, if you are allowed to move yes after six months and you're still a good fit. Or be upfront to the 2nd team if they can expedite the offer if you get the position.
All will be toxic, so try and get a feel for the other role and see if it's less toxic than the first one.
