Product engineer role interview

Hi my spouse got an interview call from Illumina for a Product Engineer 2 role. Could anyone throw some light on what the interview questions and processes would be like! She has a PhD in chemical engineering . She has worked in the oil and gas and is making a move into the health care! What are the compensations to be expected as the first round call is with the HR regarding expectations!
