Did Professional Resume Writers/LinkedIn Profile Optimization help you land a job? Was there a clear difference in the job search process before and after? If yes, what's the average cost?
Professional resume writers and LinkedIn optimizers will HURT your chances more. These clowns don’t know what they’re doing. If they did, then they’d actually be working decent jobs, not be professional résumé writers.
This isn't true at all. Especially if you are finding it hard to network for your target companies, they are very much worth the $
😃 that's a fair point. I haven't used such service yet, so wondering if it's worth the expense. Just causally browsed some websites and was not expecting $1000-$1500 as an average price for it.
@Nvji03 You have had a good experience from such service? Was it a drastic difference before n after? How much did you pay?
I think it was around $5 to 600. It was well worth it, especially the ATS friendly template, this was a few years ago, but I've shared the template with family and friends and they had great success with it too
Thanks for the link. Appreciate your help 🙂
I got my resume done. It was a shit show. $300 down the drain. He stuffed my resume with keywords which he said was necessary. It looked so bad that I would reject myself for that kind of shameless stuffing.
I've used resumeworded.com and rooftopslushie.com - in that order. The first for making sure my resume passes the ATS test, and the second to make sure it passes the human test. I highly recommend both
I pay between $500-1000 to get resume and Linkedin update. Looks nice but not much change in contact. Be sure it optimized for AI resume search tool
You mean the response rate or number of recruiters reaching out did not change much even after the optimization?
I get recruit contact often. Just not for roles I expect
