I’ve been at Amazon for 4 years, loved it. Know exactly the team I would join to have massive impact, get myself promoted to principal, and get my would-be manager promoted. However, the 18 weeks of paternity leave at Google seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity especially with the complications my wife generally has. Already have a referral but looking for reqs that have awesome staff promotion opportunity in 3-5 years.
Principal at Amazon should have a decent chance to come in at staff @ G. YOE?
There is usually a rule to qualify for paternity leave. I know a lot of companies have a minimum 1 year rule employment. Please check Google’s policy. Update us here :)
Looks like it’s 90 days at G https://support.google.com/corporate-suppliers/answer/10208902?hl=en
That is the contractors policy, my recruiter says it is 1 day.
Lmfao principle and wood be, maybe you should learn how to spell first
Did you know Meta gives you 4 months of paternity leave? Even better than Google
Principal not principle
Take FMLA if needed at Amazon. You can take FMLA for taking care of your loved ones.
Atleast get the offer first? Interviews are luck, market not favourable etc
