Applying for a role at Proofpoint that's really good match for my background. Whats their typical Staff SWE interview like (leetcode or domain specific) and expected TC? Is there an annual bonus and refreshers? With unlimited PTO, whats the typical time off people usually take? #proofpoint
A very small percentage gets refereshers but they are not guaranteed every year. For staff you are easily looking at 220k plus base plus 10% yearly bonus plus stock options.
The average time off on my team is 2 days a year, with those that take 5 or more publicly shamed

Most teams are not doing leetcode, more domain specific. Plenty of people are taking 4+ weeks off a year and I know managers who took advantage of the “work 3 weeks from anywhere “. Refresh is historically for the top 20% or so. 10% bonus target for staff.
Junior swe here, so can't comment much on the interview, but you can check levels for TC. Regarding the annual bonus, there's a target 10% bonus based on goals set between you and the manager on workday and a company bonus multiplier (it was positive for the past 2 years, no clue about before).
The TC is missing for that level. I do see stocks listed for levels, how do they work, considering its a privately owned company?
