How is proofpoint doing after the acquisition in terms of: Compensation WLB Company culture Attrition Layoffs TB leadership and management Do you guys still fear of layoffs? #tech #software #layoffs #thomabravo #anaplan
My TC is on par with what I could make at FAANG at 1.5 YOE in MCOL, but that's due to joining before the acquisition and my equity skyrocketing plus promotions. We hit a 150+% bonus payout last year which was pretty nice. For me, if I get laid off, all my equity gets paid out so I wouldn't mind, but new hires don't have that security. There haven't been any so far. TB has been hands off from a SWE point of view. Except we've been having a big push to get AWS costs down and generate more revenue. Leadership has been stable so far aside from the CEO switching companies which seems fine after 20 years with the company. Can't speak to ADs's comments about layoffs or leadership changes, but no one would openly discuss that unless you're in VP+ roles.
I'm not so sure about the gloom and doom that @ADsG52 is talking about. We have given out competitive offers and given significant raises to retain people. Sure, attrition is there and to be expected. We are hiring and there are no layoffs planned for in 2022
Did you guys have reorgs/restructuring? And which dept are you from?
Security products group. We did have a reorg
How did they handle unvested stock at acquisition?
Unvested stock turned to restricted cash vesting on the same schedule.
How's the sentiment at proofpoint? Is TB looking any cost cutting at the moment?
We are hiring..no stopping that..lets see what TB says when mgmt meets with them later this week.
How did you guys do in terms of sale. Did TB disclose anything?
Did TB cut your target bonus?
We are under hiring pause till end of q1 23. Only sales will continue to hire. Bonuses will be paid af 100%
Did you guys meet sales target? Is bonus performance based or based on ebidta
Compensation has been poor, attrition is sky high, wlb is non existent. Layoffs are coming(senior leadership across the board is looking for the exit), etc. It's a bad time
Which department are you in?
What level are you? Curious to know at what point things such as layoffs and senior leadership exists would be discussed.
