Makes sense to vote with the board. As a board they have fiduciary duty and cannot knowingly vote in favor of something that might reveal unflattering details about Microsoft’s business there by tanking the stock. I suggest you separate your political activism from business decisions.
If we tie politics with business decisions, then the Company will be forced to do change. Why would exposing the gender pay gap tank the stock? Microsoft did a $10 billion profit quarter, meanwhile its employees life style on campus hasn’t increased in terms of pay and perks the last 10+ years
