How to find doctors for FMLA in Seattle/Bellevue
My manager is very hostile towards me. My mental health degraded severely since I started at Snap, and it’s getting worse. I’ve been doing therapy service for 10+ sessions, they recommended finding a psychiatrist to get FMLA. I have a psychiatrist who prescribed me medications for mental health issues, but said that they don’t do FMLA in general. How do I find a doctor that would give me a medical leave note as soon as possible? I’m in Bellevue/Seattle area and my insurance is with Anthem Blue Cross. Why is FMLA so commonly discussed on Blind. I totally support people taking time off work, but IRL I don’t know a single person that has taken FMLA at work. Usually this would be a last resort since it is unpaid.
