WLB in Hardware Engineering

Hi All, My GF works in Hardware Engineering in India. Her WLB is pretty poor. Her normal working hours are from 8:30 am to 10 pm easily and even after that she keeps herself busy with work until 1-2 am citing project deadlines and release dates. According to her, the whole industry’s WLB is bad and changing the job won’t be the solution. I’ve told her to take it easy and just do the bare minimum but she disagrees. I am in a dilemma whether the industry or the job is the problem or she doesn’t know how to say No or balance her time. We are planning to get married but I am afraid is this situation doesn’t change and she is not able to spend time with me.
