I think he got fired from msft due to conflict with satya. Probably not coming back

Rumor (i know people high up in bing) is that he was the other candidate for msft ceo. The board wanted an internet ceo (service, cloud). The two evp shortlisted were satya and qi. Qi is very technical and very frugal. He’s also short and speaks with a heavy chinese accent. It would be bad for the company’s image. Unfortunate but reality. Soo he lost and satya fired him.
