Hi,Got verbal offer for Qualcomm SD location in DV Base 125k Stocks 80k/3 Sign on 30k Relocation 5k Location San Diego MS+4.5 yrs Current TC🥜 Is there any room for negotiation ? Is it good move from Intel to Qualcomm in terms of career growth
Typical Q offer, definitely step up from Intel.
Unlikely to negotiate for more without competing offers.
Guessing you got a senior role, this is a good offer. Even with competing offers Q won’t budge! Growth depends on your team and work but in general there are opportunities

No it’s not core team.
Ohh that’s weird . Why it is not considered to be core? Heard they have a separate DSP org and my work is going to be core level on the Arm cores/ Cpu mostly… It is the DSP CPU DV team…
Working at core level has nothing to do with core team. In general, in qc, core teams are modem, gpu, camera.

That is a good offer for 4.5 yes experience. Not sure if you can squeeze anymore. Growth in Qualcomm will be lot better than Intel
