As someone who grew up in lower middle class, and now making 300k, I have come to greatly appreciate quality products, with the caveat that I really have not found a good way to identify them. Amazon ratings are almost useless, and its hard to know if something is 'high quality' or just expensive and poorly made. Would love to hear from anyone who has favorite brands or products that they would highly recommend. Some examples: - I love basically everything from Simple Human - All my T-shirts are from Eddie Bauer - Have been wearing the same pair of Nike Frees for like 4 years, and absolutely love them (will buy a new pair soon I swear) - I also buy a lot of clothes from Uniqlo - Have started buying stuff from NomadGoods as well For clothes, priority is basically Comfort and quality. Have recently discovered stretchy pants that look like dress pants (cant remember the brand), and will never wear jeans again.
adding some random examples here: - arcteryx clothing if you have an active lifestyle - kapital (more like fashion brand, hard to get in the US though) - wedgwood or le creuset dinnerware - visvim shoes - aesop skincare/cosmetics
Also love nike frees. I bought a new pair of the exact same model I bought 5 years back (white free run 2018)
adding some more random examples: - nikecraft general purpose shoe ended up being one of the most versatile and comfortable shoes for me. can go hiking, can go to a restaurant. hard to find too. - cote&ciel backpacks. one I have is 6 years old and looks like new - suicoke sandals. not the most comfortable ones but they look cool
What’s the brand of your pants?
Vessi shoes (the ones shilled by so many YouTubers). Seriously, especially if you live somewhere wet in the winter, like Seattle. Not particularly stylish, but great for everyday wear.
Check out beyond clothing, I use them for military stuff. But their civilian gear is badass. Maybe time to develop some unique style. Coach? LV? Versace? Do any of those fit your style? Another brand I’ve found that is great is IntoTheAM.
Are you looking mostly for clothing brands? And if so, what’s your style?
Not only clothing. Daily accessories or gadgets also apply. My 'style' is Comfort. I almost could not care what the clothes actually look like
