Hi Recently joined TMobile and trying to enroll for Health benefits , it says some Surcharge applies for enrolling spouse also based on his/her eligibility with his/her employer. My spouse has access to her employer plan (which is optional from consultancy) , but its not that great and so i want to include her in my plan. But it says some additional surcharge including family premium (which is coming more than her premium amount) if just sign up for her alone with her employer. Do we need to submit any proof as such if i just select NO ?
AFAIK, no proof is required but take this action keeping in mind the implications if T-MOBILE does find out.
If I recall its about 100-115/paycheck to add a working spouse.
