Ques: Coinbase Reference and employment check
Hello, Should I start thinking of a few colleagues who can help with references for background check for Coinbase? Anyone know how employment check works at Coinbase and how long it takes? A friend at Walmart said they did not need any references or employment proof while Stripe does reference check as well as employment check. Want to ensure I have all things ready for the process so please let me know. Thank you!#tech
No need to provide references , you will have an option to chose not to contact previous employer for references
Ok but I'm not comfortable saying don't contact employer, seems odd doesn't it?
It doesn’t . Not everyone is comfortable with new company checking with the old while they still haven’t given the notice
I did believe I needed references. Background checks are usually quick, < 1 week
