#amazon Have a few questions regarding those three: 1. Who is in charge of software product map? The scope of the product and what should deliver next step? 2. Is Tech product manager determining the priority of the features or the non tech product manager? 3. Who will work closely with software engineers to manage scrum, timeline? Tech program manager or tech product manager? 4. If product manager determines what to do, is tech product manager or tech program manger to provide the solution? Thanks! Always confused about those three

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
1. Software Product Roadmap = Product Manager Technical 2. Priority of the features = Product Manager Technical for software products 3. Closely work with software engineers to manage scrum = Tech Program Manager 4. Provide technical solution = Tech Program Manager
Thanks for your answers! So what will the non product manager own at Amazon?
The only difference between a PMT and a PM is the nature of the product that they own. Realise that there are a bunch of “products” at Amazon that are non-technical in nature. The roadmap, feature priority, etc. for these things are determined by non-tech PM.
