Do you guys look up candidate’s Reddit accounts from their email address? Or do you have internal rules about that. Just wondering if this was a part of my no-hire. (To answer your question no I am not some bastard but I am part of the LGBT community and looking at my anon account would reveal that) #reddit #hiring
Reddit is a very pro LGBTQIA+ company. Idk if they have any such tools but if they ever find your account they'd probably give you brownie points for being aligned culturally. Stop overthinking and focus on your interview
They have no problem with LGBT, now the weird shit you're looking up when you don't think anybody's watching.....that could be a no go
OP you're acting like one of those people who say "I might get cancelled for this...but here it goes" then proceeds to spew the exact same agenda that everyone fully supports already 🤡
I didn’t get the job but oh well.
Sorry you didn't get the job, but we don't check accounts before hiring. There are VERY few people/teams that have the ability to find an account by email address (support, safety, etc) and recruiting is definitely not one of them.
You being lgbt should be a plus for you being hired at Reddit, not a negative
