Why do job postings on Linkedin for roles that frozen/have candidates deep in the pipeline continually get reposted on linkedin? Is it a manual process or is it Cron job style automation? TC: 310 YOE: 4
If you post a job with automation tools it will get refreshed every now and then.
What about reposts to a company careers site? Is it the same thing?
It depends on the system, but closing out the role internally usually closes it on the company’s career site instantaneously. When I’m looking for a job and I see a role I’m interested in on LinkedIn, I always look for it on the company’s website just yo make sure the role is still active.
When a company pays for job posts to be sponsored, reposting of jobs in the queue is an automated feature every 30 days until the recruiter turns the job off from public view.
It's automatically reposted.

Why is it so G*damn difficult to move money out of India
I think it’s a LinkedIn issue. I’ve closed reqs and pulled postings that somehow still get reposted on LinkedIn.
So reposts are usually a waste of time?
Not always, just sometimes. Unfortunately there’s no way to know from a candidate’s perspective.
