Which banks have the quickest turnaround time for hiring? People on Blind keep on saying that the average is a couple of months. I don't have that kind of time. I want to move out relatively quickly from where I'm at. I can already hear my brain cells dying. Does anyone want to let me know whether their bank is actively hiring for finance roles?
Really depends on the team. I got my offer from JP Morgan the next day.
Tech side at C1 could be as quick as 1 week to onsite and offer next day
While I know some people over at C1 and I was told that they have a hard time hiring engineers because they’re not competitive in the Bay Area (stock, bonuses, etc.). I think I also heard that in the news that after that epic data breach that their executives were told by that hiring was a problem and that it was a contributing factor. Not trolling here I’m just curious honestly as to your opinions. Thanks in advance.
Honestly very few companies could beat FAANG, but aside from that it's pretty good compared to everyone else. Of course many start up give paper stock and those aren't really money either. ASPP (essentially 15% discount no black out or vesting period), 401k match, etc etc adds up to quite a bit.
Capital One process. Phone interview with HR phone interview with hiring mgr Full day of onsite interviews Offer in a less than one week after Total process usually takes 2-3 weeks
The speed record is phone screen beginning of month and start date 4th week of same month. It's not typical but sometimes can happen.
If you want ASAP, you can *skip* JP Morgan
