I have cleared 5 rounds of booking.com and got an email from recruiter saying that he would update me on further process in a 15 min discussion. 5 Rounds 1) Sreening & HR discussion 2) Hackerrank test 3) Coding interview 4) System design 5) Cultural fit Can someone help me what happens after this, as this is my first international offer. How do I negotiate the offer and ask for proper relocation perks or are those standard? What other perks does booking.com offer in Amsterdam, apart from (Base pay + 15% bonus + stocks) mentioned structure ? Anybody who completed the process recently, kindly share your experince. Update - My recruiter informed that role which I applied for is filled and he will be matching my profile with other open roles as my feedback is good. Do you see any issues here ? Are you interviewing from India by any chance. Just wanted to check to find out if that's possible
Not from India. But you can apply directly from their website, that is how I got the call.
Go to techpays.eu, check booking.com salaries and ensure you are getting close to the market. Downlevelling people who are hired from abroad is a common practice, at least in my experience, be careful of that
Thank you for your input, will research on that link you shared.
Hey, congrats. Just wanted to get an idea about how long after the HR screening call did it take to schedule the last 3 rounds? I had a screening call with them last week and I got a mail after that saying they'll send time and date suggestions soon. Haven't heard anything back since then so just wondering if it takes long for them generally.
Usually the recruiter was prompt in replying, but do follow up on the process as needed. I followed up couple of times and process almost took a month. All the best.
Yeah, guess I should send a mail. Did you receive the time and date suggestions immediately after the recruiter call?
Hey! Congratulations, the next step is gonna be a feedback call with the recruiter and a verbal offer, if you agree, they will send you a written offer within 2 days. Booking relocation package is very good and already included in the offer, expect airline tickets for you and your partner, first month accommodation and some cash to get you started in Amsterdam.
They will do all the visa paperwork for you, and handle the 30% tax break paperwork and process.
Thanks for the information, but my recruiter informed that role which I applied for is filled and he will be matching my profile with other open roles as my feedback is good. Do you see any issues here ?
