I was contacted by a recruiter from HRT for a Full Stack Developer position. He mentioned a CodeSignal pre-screen test involving Python and React problems. Has anyone taken a similar test? I'm curious about Python's focus (like LeetCode questions) and the overall difficulty level ? Also, if anyone has insights on what the React test is like or any preparation tips, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! #hrt #hudsonrivertrading #hudsonriver #swe #tech #codesignal
I took the test last year for a full stack position. It had a python problem I think using yield or something that I was not familiar with but figured it out. Not a leetcode problem more practical. The react problem was to build an image carousel that infinitely looped. It also had a medium SQL question. Can you update here with the questions you got after you take the test? I’d like to try again this year (I failed at this stage. My SQL skills were not good and I didn’t know how to make the carousel loop infinitely without codility crashing)
Thanks!
Wow you still remember them - yea I had the same questions last year - cleared two rounds until they told me they signed with someone else
Did anyone get to the first technical round?
Have you done it?
OP did you take the test?
How long did it take for you to receive the feedback?
1 day
It's taking more time for me. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, I took this exact test. I can't remember the Python portion but the React portion required you to create the minesweeper game. I'm not that well-versed in React so it didn't go well.
Thank you! ^_^
When did you take the test?
