So I am working at Paytm for the last 8 months and WLB is non-existent. They give so many tasks and assign unrealistic deadlines to complete all of them. This soul sucking shithole is going downhill and I feel like I am not living anymore. They expect you to learn every single tech stack that exists within a couple of days and work as an expert on Node , Java, Python , DevOps stuff you name it. But with hiring slowdown and market looking bad, should I quit my job? I also will have to return my joining bonus of 1L due to their 18 month clause. YOE: 3.5 TC: 28 LPA #tech #paytm

Do minimum at the job, prepare for interviews and leave once get a job outside. All the best
Sorry if this isn’t helpful or too obvious but have you pushed back on your management and told them their deadlines and tasks are too aggressive? A good boss should be able to hear that and adapt. If it’s not the best work environment that may not get you anywhere though.
I haven’t actually, but people are delivering at equal pace and then there is always fear of being bottom performer and getting PIPed. 3 Folks did get PIPed during my tenure. So never really had the courage to push back :’(
Don't do webdev if you want your sanity.
Why don't you start looking for a new job now and only quit once you find one?
I work 12 hours a day on average, it’s so hard to manage studies afterwards and interviews are also getting so hard. Most weekends also go in learning some new kind of stuff that gets assigned. But yes, i am trying to switch
Don't work 12 hour. Get a doctor to certify you are losing health on it. Don't quit. Get fired. Do less than bare minimum, work 6 hours.
