Why does leetcode get so much hate?
#amazon #rfe#h1b Guys, in Jan for my h1 transfer i got RFE on my petition, attorney’s submitted response on 13th Mar and USCIS case status updated on 16thMar. So as per premium processing 15 days that would be 30 of this month.. but i have hearing things like as USCIS is busy after 15days of premium processing time USCIS is converting these applications to regular processing and doing the refund and this is not for all cases.. By the end of this month, it would be already 4 months complete since i accepted offer. because my visa was not approved, i did not join the company, in case if my pettion gets converted into regular, it might even go for atleast 3-4 months. do anyone know if amazon going to wait for that long.?
Yes amazon will wait. They know immigration process might take time.
If you got RFE in Jan, why did the lawyers wait untill March to file a response?
They take 6-8 weeks to prepare response.
No. They need to be pushed to respond quickly. There is nothing much to do in response. Now you just have only option is to join on receipt or check with recruiter how much are they willing to extend the start date. Amazon is team specific hiring. So if the start is delayed the team might find another candidate.
it will be processed in premium since it was responded to before the announcement. keep us posted
Did you hear any response back from Uscis yet ?
Hello, did you hear anything yet?
Full Time Job H1 Ext Filed 02/25/2020 (PP) RFE 02/25/2020 (Speciality Occupation) RFE response filed 05/18/2020 H1 Ext Approval 05/28/2020 (3 Yrs) Attorney- Fragomen California
Did the uscis website update the case status when you filed a response to show they have received your response?
Why aren’t you joining on receipt ? If USCIS will not do PP they will return the money. Ask you immigration team if they returned the $$ or not.
If your advice is to join on receipt, it is bad advice. Very risky especially this is a response to RFE.
Yeah, joining on the receipt will be a bad idea because I have seen people who went on receipt and then later transfer got rejected.. and have to leave the country if i94 is expired.. and if I do that, I will loose both the jobs current and new.
