Grew up in Bangladesh in a low income household with 4 siblings. Still remember craving for chocolates, chips and soda as a little boy. In 2013, I decided to Apply for master's program in the US. Somehow Squeezed my way into a lower tier university in Texas with some scholarships to pay tuition. Worked hard as a cleaner in my university during my master's making $7 an hour in 2014 to pay rent and buy food (couldn't work off campus). Worked my way up, did internships, got full time job offers, got promoted and now got an offer from Apple with a Total comp of 350k ( $182 per hour). My per hour pay has literally 26x from my $7 per hour pay as a cleaner during my university days in 2014 in less than a decade. In the last 5-6 years, I have Sponsored my younger sisters wedding, bought a home for my aging parents, financially helped my elder brother in setting up his business and kept sending remittances to my aging parents to help them with daily expenses. Coming to the US has single handedly eased the living conditions of me and my family members. God bless this beautiful country. Land of the free and home of the brave 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 New TC - 350k.

Congrats, apple seems to be coming out on top considering all the bad news from other big tech companies recently
The org I got the offer from is AI/ML and they are one of the highest paying orgs.
Amen to that.
Go bless America!! No matter what others say, there's no place on earth with better opportunities for all. :D
Only country in the world where the only thing holding you back from success is lack of hardwork.
God bless this beautiful nation that helped me escape a life of abject poverty
Isn’t the queue for you people like 30 years for greencard?
I am from Bangladesh which is much more poorer than India. No idea about green card queue. I am on an h1b.
There is no queue for Bangladesh. Just apply and get it within a year. Getting PERM would be the hard part though, given layoffs and everything.
Lol
