Raleigh vs Austin
Where would you relocate to if you had a chance? My job is remote and I am getting an opportunity to relocate, same TC for both locations. TC: 230k #hardware #austin #raleigh

Only thing Austin offers more is opportunity than Raleigh. Otherwise, NC is the way to go
Lived in Raleigh for few years. Great place to be in, never felt dull or boring. Has one of the largest beer garden. Also at the time, I did not feel cost of living was crazy. Its a relatively safer town. Some people do get bothered by bugs, storms and occsional hurricane in NC, but not me. Lot of beachtowns within a couple of hours drive, also drivable to quite a few major east coast cities. Plus you have blue ridge mountains close by if you are into that.

@Intel: How bad are the bugs? I am from Boston suburbs and was curious if Raleigh would be a better choice.
