Recently got contacted by the recruiter and just start interviewing. Wonder what would be the TC breakdown for a senior dev in its DC office? Appreciate your inputs. TC 138K YOE 5 Location: Northen Virginia ( Btw NOVA is a terrible place of TC to COL ratio:))

But not sure why u want to join Rally. They won’t pay as good as FB. Probably only half of TC one would get from FB.

Spot on, worst ratio in the country probably.
Yea because in NYC you can get 300k TC, that's basically unattainable as an engineer in Nova and the rents are similar
Definitely worse than NYC or SF. A moderate 1BR rent costs about 2k in a safer neighborhood while TC is only 1/2 or 1/3 of those in SF and NYC.
