L63 swe at azure TC: 220 YOE: 24 4 yrs at FAANG Base: 165 Stonks: 120k / 4 Bonus 25k Signing 15k Is it worth internal transfer or should I try boomerang? Haven't heard from a single recruiter in months.

Basically MCOL area (like Denver). I'm not sure if MSFT uses the same zones as GitHub, but that offer seems right on the money for a zone 3 L63 (or maybe it's L62) offer.
Depends on the location. This is L62 comp based on other recent offers on blind. And the leveling seems sus if you actually have 24 years of experience
I am in hcol area but not redmond. Comp is not great, same base as in 2015. At MS level seems to be more about are you the same nationality as your M2/M3. But i dont care about level, only TC.

Yes, trades can charge a lot now. A single business can bill $5 million a year. Everything takes at least 3 months.

Not necessarily. More years != increased scope so they might have stayed as a senior for 13+ years. Not everybody wants or has the option to become a staff engineer.
I did that type of work in the past for years. Problem was the company was either too small or did not have fast growth. 2 or 3 went bankrupt. I got to larger companies, but I started getting hit with fixing other people's failed "staff" projects and tech debt. Now the only work available is 100% tech debt remediation and ops/oncall.
