Current student graduating in June 2024. Would appreciate any feedback. I'm targeting APM/new grad PM roles and would love any referrals if my resume seems like a fit. Thanks!
Oh good for you: you studied abroad in London. I bet you had a hard time speaking a foreign language all day.
Ehh maybe you could target PM roles at banks, but tbh not sure if this resume will fly in tech. There are so many other kids who’ve had pm internships that would be chosen over this. Id say target a stepping stone role (pm at bank, or consultant, or something close to pm) and choose a company where internal transfer would be do-able. I hope I eat my words here and you do get a pm role out of school! But just being realistic. You’re clearly very talented and smart so you’ll do well anywhere
Just trying to shoot for the stars and see what happens
Also your blind is linked to J.P. Morgan… so we know that’s what the bulge bracket is…
yeah, that was pretty dumb
You are Ethiopian ?
yeah, are you?
Nope but i have very good friends from Ethiopia and I love your food.
Your resume isn't tailored at all, you don't mention Jira a single time, the primary tool used for product management
this is useful, thank you!
"Programming" means nothing, what languages you know is important, be more clear about what you can do
I’d put experience first and then education

We all have to start somewhere right
Doesn’t mean you submit a blank sheet of paper. You need to articulate the WHY.
