Regardless if you're "in it for the mission" or just looking for a good job, steer clear. Rampant mismanagement, rudderless business model, nonexistent ROI, unethical practices, and crap PMF have resulted in the most recent and obvious round of layoffs this week. The company was already bleeding talent since before COVID. In this market, since the pandemic, a well-funded mental health startup that secured a series D six months before the pandemic somehow squandered the opportunity literally every other mental health company easily exploited. That should be enough of a red flag by itself for you to keep tf away. There is no shortage of other companies doing sustainable, interesting, and good work in mental health right now. I'm done here. #mentalhealth #healthcare #health #healthtech TC: $130k, operations
Same.
Does AbleTo also suck?
Honestly I wouldn't say suck, but they have similar issues. Overpromises and under deliver. They have shown some positive ROI, but requires generous assumptions and hand wavey math. They are a decent healthcare company but a crappy tech company. Extremely stingy with equity so impossible to retain top talent.
