React.js at the big companies after the licensing kerfuffle

For the big companies that have built things with React.js, are you now finding internal push back on its use due to any (potential) conflict with its BSD-plus-Patents license? Or is no one worried and it's business as usual? Tagged only a few big ones but I'm curious to hear from any of them

Business as usual

No internal pushback; since we're not patent trolls, and suing Facebook is pretty fiscally unwise anyways, the patent revocation clause won't apply to us. (Software patents suck and shouldn't exist)

Biz as usual since we're too big to pivot, but no FB tools other than react

What exactly happened

Apache foundation banned react's 3 year old license all of a sudden. People who aren't lawyers got really upset (again), most of whom wildly misunderstand licensing.

Facebook booby trapped React and nobody noticed until recently. It's a shitty thing they did, nobody knows if it will stand up in court, but nobody wants to be the first to test it.

Business as usual

Yeah we decided to rewrite our entire code base. It will take years and probably sink the company but what are you gonna do

Well played by Facebook legal team lol

Not news. We knew about it before starting with react. The only new thing here is that Apache blacklisted this license, because they have a broader set of concerns and target audience.
