Thinking of retiring less money is fine with more peace and time to enjoy life
So many other companies that not only pay a lot more than Samsung but also work like 3 hours a day max.
Is MSFT like that now felt different during my stint
It's always been like that. Was there more than 10 years, and most I ever did was 30 hours a week.
Maybe it’s you. You should work on your wlb skills. Push back
Do you think I did not push back
Yeah my wife interviewed there was so terrible and she’s in benefits. Said they have to be on call and on weekends. 24/7. All the Glassdoor reviews we reviewed from engineers to marketers were horrible for wlb
I didn’t get this either. I left Amazon earlier this year for a smaller company and it’s been great. No one call, 8 hours a day
Don't need oncall unless you have customers
Glassdoor just released a best places to work list. Maybe start your next job search there

Modi is BJP's biggest liability now
Good for you but isn’t Samsung a pretty shitty work env in general? There’s a lot of companies with solid work life balance
Dont know why I always get companies with shitty WLB .. bad luck
Sorry 😐 Samsung would be the bottom of my list if I had to choose at least for wlb. What’s ur role. We have roles at indeed that might interest you. Let me know
