I had an interview with Facebook reality lab. The job is not a general hire, it is a hiring for the oculus group. The recruiter contacted me saying he saw all the feedback and reviews from interviewers. He said it is very positive and The final decision will be made the next day. Then he asked me about my expected salary and package. I am not quite sure how positive this is and is there any change that I get rejected.
This sounds right. Though joining Oculus is a huge risk, AR is a head fake that’s decades from any actual commercial application. Just be ready to look for another job soon, should you join.
More risk more reward. Look at engineers in the crypto space
Yes you are right. It is risky. But Facebook is putting huge resources in AR/VR. Maybe the next generation of personal device is based on these AR stuff.
It’s the normal process. They will get these details before the debrief in order to come back to you with a verbal offer. Chances are good ATM.
How many days since on-site?
Only 1.5 workdays and weekends after on-site. Lol
The same happened with me, instead after the hiring committee I got a reject. Recruiter didn't explain why

Hypocrisy of Indians
It most likely means what it says: the feedback looked good, the recruiter is optimistic enough based on his experience with comparable packets that you will get an offer and it hasn’t gone to the hiring committee for approval yet.
