Hey all, I recently(couple weeks ago) had an interview at BNY Mellon for a Lead position. Everything went great the recruiter seemed extremely interested, positive feedback all that. I’ve since tried to reach out to them to keep the conversation going and get any updates I can but it’s been radio silence. Am I being paranoid or am I chasing a ghost at this point? #interview #finance
I had a similar experience last year with them but the initial contact from the recruiter was off putting. It’s like she had the initial email in her drafts, then replied to herself and copied me on it asking if I was still interested? When I asked for a salary range they did the whole “ what do you expect” song and dance. Fast forward to the interview which went well and I was told they’d be making a decision the following week. Ghosted after that. Annoying for sure but at least it wasn’t as big a waste of time as the other company that made me sit through 3 interviews with a recruiter who seemed very excited for me to join, only to be ghosted 🫠

I’m actively interviewing with 3-4 companies, and it’s radio silence everywhere right now. Most people must be out in vacation for holidays (including recruiters) and decisions won’t be made right now.
