If a recruiter told you that the position you apply to might have a lower TC in the first year, compared to your current TC. But it’s a path to be a people manager in a year because the team is going to grow exponentially. If you wait and not to apply now, you will only be able to be in this same-level position under this manager if you apply in a year. Do you believe this recruiter’s words? #wtfareyoutalkingabout #everyoneislayingoffbutyouaregrowing
Hell no
The recruiter is providing you with information that is .. B U L L S H I T
Even if I become a complete vegetable / comatose and you whisper this in my ear, I'd wake up momentarily, call it a BS right to your face, and then go back to being a vegetable.
Recruiters will tell you whatever they need to in order to get you through the door. They don't have to deal with the fallout a year from now when you leave.
Recruiter's job is done one you're hired, so take it as a pinch of salt
Recruiters have absolutely no insights in internals and growth of team. They usually just blabber and make false promises to make you accept offer.
Here’s one simple trick to know when a recruiter is lying: their lips are moving
Fuck no. Current recruiter said something similar but I knew it was bull. I needed the job so I took the offer but they can literally make up reasons related to your performance, budget, or policies once you join and deny you promotion.
Recruiters have lied to me about bonus pay benefits and more. If a recruiter says sonething but its not in your letter it isnt real. Recruiters seem to have no issues lying and ghosting which is why they arent respected.
If it’s a recruiter outside Amazon they might be having a hard time matching amazons salary.
