Heard great 2022 in profit and growth, see bunch of top exec coming from outside and crazy sales hiring, sounds like an IPO playbook?
Even if Reddit IPOs tho, will the price fair well over time? Thereās very little info out there on general sentiment of its mid to long term prospect as an investment
Donāt get me wrong, I love Reddit, but they have no business going public
How is fanduel
They are profitable?
Reddit seems already at its ultimate form. What growth and expansion does it need? Why would investors invest in it?
They didnāt monetize ads seriously until recently, also they have new ways of making money, I think they can reach 50 billion market cap in 2 years, which implies 2-5 billion revenue, itās not so unrealistic
Wouldn't count on it anytime soon unless they can dodge the advertisement downturn.
They just had layoff
Everyone is riding layoffs because they can, MS did, Google did, their profits are decent
Reddit is becoming unusable with the amount of major subreddits that heavily censor and/or are heavily biased r/news r/politics r/worldnews r/technology r/science (what a joke) r/outoftheloop (might be the worst)
If you're still in any of the default subreddits you're doing reddit wrong
They won't IPO until the economy/stock market is ripe again. I would say 2024-2025. They're heavily investing in the ads business. That's probably their biggest bet. The one thing in their favor is that subreddits are perfect for targeted ads. So if they take ads seriously in the coming two years they could be in a decent position post tech bubble/recession etc.
Reddit going downhill in the last 5 years
Not true at all
When will Blind go IPO?
