Reddit employees - what’s up with every new account I try making being shadow banned by default?
I lost my password to my old account, so I’ve been trying to make a new one. But every account I make is immediately shadow banned. Dafuq?

Reddit is cringe these days. Not 100+ karma on a new account, post blocked. Say something that triggers the mods, banned. Popular post with 10k+ upvotes that triggers mods and breaks no rules. Lock post and hide post. Also ban the user. People should just stop using Reddit at this point. The website is cringe at this point.

Wasn’t always this bad. Reddit used to be a place big about free speech and decent discussion. Then one of the founders who pushed for free speech on Reddit passed away and the site turned to garbage.

Very true. And I’m a white American on top of making money so…I’m basically Reddit’s arch nemesis.
It’s IP based probably go turn off your router for a couple hours…

Shadow banned how?
Reddit regularly shadow bans accounts that are new because the admins are too stupid to set up proper filters to block spam while allowing new users to post. Admins are preoccupied with blocking “wrongthink”. The accounts posts are hidden to everyone but the user and user is never informed. Basically passive aggressive cringe behavior from the admins.
Or lack of tools for admins from Reddit
