Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
Reddit has hostile and aggressive users who attack as a group and downvote posts who share opposing views even when it has valid points So they share the post link with others and then coordinate downvotes What kinda sick behavior is this?
Some groups are crazy. You speak an opinion they disagree with, they will ban you.
Yeah subredditing is the perfect way to destroy alternative thinking.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a political or sports kinda group. It’s the same for location based groups. Such low tolerance for seemingly normal issues and they claim to be better people !!!!
Welcome to the nature of anonymous internet forums Now TC or GTFO
Ashamed to share $0 :(
First time on Reddit?
Sort of non frequent user
It was a huge problem during Covid. You could not say fat and old people had higher risks without getting banned. There's a lot of bot activity too, so I don't think it's representative of any real public opinion.
Interesting. I saw someone mentioned bot but I thought he was joking and mocking users who downvote
Reddit accounts are worth actual money. Reddit is a very usable media space with tons of exposure. Whoever wants to push a narrative will use the necessary resources.
‘Reddit accounts are worth actual money.’ How? Do the points act like followers on ig or tiktoc?
This is why you see tons of bots, agenda pushing, and astro turfing https://www.savingadvice.com/articles/2023/05/31/1089629_sell-your-reddit-account.html
Even 4chan users are more accepting than redditors
new to reddit?
Sort of, old account but haven’t used it in the past
It’s called bullying and mob mentality. It’s the type of narrow-minded thinking that destroys nations. The only thing Reddit users can agree upon are cute dog/cat videos and attacks on people who don’t share in common the loosely defined mob ideology.
That’s the right word for it - bullying, mobbing, and toxic positivity. It should have been a place for respectful disagreements, higher tolerance and empathy regardless of opinion. At the end of the day it’s all about people
