What do you think of Reddit? I am considering to interview for an Engg manager role. Can Reddit reach a $20-30B valuation in 3-4 years? #startup #equity #ipo #reddit Can Reddit folks comment on the internal health ( financials) and any talk of IPO in the next few years?

On the decline IMO.
Reddit was looking good until the godawful UI redesign, they went way over the top with the censorship in the last couple years and started trying to heavily monetize with those stupid awards. What good is a discussion board if the only "discussions" you can have are softball topics and admin-approved meme regurgitation? They censor more heavily than Facebook now, it's sad.
I've been on reddit since like 2009. It's gradually gone downhill for a while, but it wasn't bad and you could find great communities. Suddenly in the last year or two it's almost exclusively become memes for 14 year olds. Some okay content here and there, but it's getting way harder to find any depth. Very sad. I guess that has more to do with using it than coding it, though.
Was a shithole when I worked there. I think parts have gotten better, but upper management is seriously terrible
I think we are 1-2 years away from an IPO based on internal signaling

Id prefer a delayed ipo so we can get in more on that stonk 🚀
$20-$30B in 3-4 years feels pretty likely, yes. If current trends hold. Could be more if public markets continue to be insane like they have been.
Which team? Aside from tc, Not all teams are equal.
There are lots of public information out there. You can make your own judgement instead of listening to opinions of the blind community who may not be very informed https://www.wsj.com/articles/reddit-claims-52-million-daily-users-revealing-a-key-figure-for-social-media-platforms-11606822200
🚀🚀🚀🚀 STONKS
This explains why ad revenue is growing so slowly, that plus the fact that the user base has outright disdain for ads
Reddit upside is very high. Now is a great time to join. I came from Amazon too. You’ll be a happy man 3 years from now😉
How hard is the interview process? Ask LC hard?
I think they made significant interview process changes since I joined so I can’t speak to how it is now. But when I interviewed it was LC medium.
How much RSU are new grads getting?

Isn’t it owned by Condé Nast? I don’t think it’s going anywhere. Would not consider it a real contender tbh.
Reddit split out a while ago. They have board representation, but we otherwise operate independently.
